Greetings from the realm of dragons. There is a lot of new news, I haven't been able to update lately due to a slight case of "computer problems" in other words the computer has been kicking my ass!!
The Treasure hunt contest is over, the treasure has been found and all prizes awarded. I';ll work on a new contest in January or Febuary. Speaking of contests, there is one on the newest Paisty Jenny e-mail check it out here. Good luck.
Let's see what else is new.......Oh yea, The last show paisty did was in kearney at Maxwells, that place is fun! and the fans are great. Thanks to all that came to the show. our next show is in Norfolk at the Depot. It is sure to be a blast.
On a serious note, it's no secret that I support our troops fighting terrorist overseas, I am friends with some, and I have some relation over there also. A couple of months ago paisty did the farewell party for three bothers (Brian, Brady, and Dustin) in Madison NE. After the show all three signed a flag for me so that I could display it on my amp. Since then I have been approached by a few other Soldiers about signing my flag. It's a small flag, not much room for the signitures of America's finest. Now there is a bigger flag on the front of my amp now, and I would like our troops and vets to sign my flag to let them know the some of us still support them and remember them. If you are in the Military or a Veteran, and you are at the show, tell me and I'll have you sign my Flag!!

The Point After was a blast this weekend!! Thanks to the fans, the students from the College of Dentistry, and the staff and management of the Point After for a kick ass weekend.
This week we will be in Kearney Nebraska at Maxwells Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. So can we say "road trip" This venue is allways fun plus it has one other advantage, It's in the Ramada motel, no DUIs.
The Treasure has been found, twice, but there is several runnerup prizez left. Tina was the person who won the contest, followed by Kristi in a close second. Their e-mails were about 20 minutes apart!
So I have some parting words for you about thanksgiving view it here. Have a good Thanks giving and see you in Kearney!!

Fargo N.D. F'n rocks!! That was one kick ass weekend. I'd like to thank all who showed up at Rick's to rock with the Paisty boys, and thanks to the staff and management of Rick's for the hospitality and having us play there.
We ended up with some kick ass road stories, including running out of gass about 15 miles shy of Fargo. I've given Sean a lot of shit about it, so I'll start leaving him alone about it (still it;s a good road story)
This weekend (NOV 16th) Paisty will be forever changing Hastings when we play a one nighter at PJ's. So it's road trip time!! Gawd i love road trips!! See ya there!

Hey World Wide Web, what's goin' on? I survived Fridays gig at cheerleaders, woke up with a bad ass back ache though. Thanks to Josh for being the bass tech and Roadie for the band, his help was greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone that showed up and partied with the Pasty boys.
This weekend we are off, followed by a trip up north to Fargo ND at Rick's. So Iam going to take it easy for awhile and let my injury repair it's self so I can be back to my regularself in Fargo. I've done some updating on the humor 101 page, so be sure and check it out. See ya later!!
O.K, I am a little late updating the web site, I'll tell you why in few minutes. Last weekend Paisty pasted Norfolk at the Depot, yep, BIG fun!! thanks to every one that came out to rock with the Paisty boys. i would also like to thank Brad, and his staff for taking good care of us.
Here's what's goin on, Monday around noon I severly injured myself unloading a truck in Omaha. The doctors tell me that I have an "acute lumbar strain" in other words my back hurts like hell!! and the medication I am taking makes me loopy. The only time my back doesn't hurt is while I am sleeping. (O.K. I am done bitching) Anyway Friday night Paisty will be playing at Cheerleaders in Lincoln, so don't expect too much out of the dragon, I doubt I'll be thrashing about as I like to do (I don't want to do anymore damage to my back). Well, I got to go to bed, the meds are kicking in and it's hard to stay focused, See ya this week emd!
Greetings, how the hell are ya? I am still recovering from Kearney, you people ROCK!! Maxwells is a great place to play, never ending fun. I'd like to thank all who showed up and rocked with us. I'd also like to thank the staff and management of Maxwells. The show was very intense, had a little problem with bass strings breaking!!
I also need to thank the wedding party saturday for letting Paisty Jenny crash their party. I've wanted to be a wedding crasher since I saw the movie, so now that I've done it, hell ya it is fun!! So beware I might have to crash another, and it could be near you or maybe even yours!! LOL So if a tattoed longhaird freak of nature comes wandering in to your wedding party don't kick him out just give him a beer.
This weekend, Friday the 14th and Saturday the 15th, Paisty will be rockin' at the Depot in Norfolk Nebraska. So come out to the show and rock with the Paisty boys! See Ya!!

It's 11:30 the day before Paisty is going to roll in to Maxwells in Kearney for three days of heavy duty Paisty rock, and I finally have a chance to update the web site. I can tell by how much bass repair I had to do to prepare for this week!!

ALRIGHT LINCOLN!! you have proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Lincoln still ROCKS! I had a kick ass weekend rockin with friends at the Point After. Saw some familiar faces and met some new ones, all in all it was a great show.
This weekend the 23rd and 24th, we will be relaxing with a weekend off. Then comes the weekend of Sept. 30th and Oct. 1st Paisty will be in Beatrice NE. at The Office to do some serious rock-n-roll damage. If you live in Beatrice I'll see ya there, if you live outside of Beatrice, well, it's called a road trip. Get in your car and haul ass to Beatrice to party with the Paisty boys. See ya later!!

We have finished an awesome weekend at Maxwells in Kearney Ne. Thanks to all the people who rocked with the Paisty boys!! Kearney ROCKS!! I would also like to thank the management and staff of Maxwells for taking good care of us. We will return to Maxwells again October 6th through the 8th, see ya there!!
I'd like to take a moment to give prayers and thoughts to those who died or was victimized by the cowards who attacked the trade towers, the Pentagon, and flight 93. May those who died rest in peace and those who were injured recover, and may the terrorist's themselves rot in hell.
On a happier note, next weekend Paisty will be rockin' Lincoln at the Point after, see ya there!

Now that's what I call rock-n-roll weekend. We started the weekend out at Playmakers with Flurry . I enjoyed rockin with Flurry and hope to do so again. The show was moved inside, but we still had a lot of fun.
Then sunday we traveled to Mitchell S.Dakota to rock the Jackpot, and was some serious fun!! Thanks to the jackpot and staff for taking care of us while we were there. Thanks to M! Sound and Light Productions for making us sound good and not standing in the dark. The fans at the Jackpot kicked ass!! Can't wait till Paisty goes back to the Jackpot.
This week we are back in Kearney Ne. at Maxwells for a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday show. So it's ROAD TRIP TIME !! so you can stay home and be board, or you can take a road trip to Kearney and party with the Paisty Boys!

O.K. Lincoln, tomarrow is the day to come out to Playmakers and rock you asses off with the Paisty boys. The show will start off with special guests Flurry then it will be our turn to take to the stage. It will be a wild show, I've heard people saying something about pineapple juice. Hmmm...they must of heard about the benefits of pineapple. If you haven't heard, it makes one, should we say, flavorful.
On a serious note, hopes and prayers go to the victims of hurricane Katrina, Mother natures fury hit the south hard. The disaster was bad enough, now they have jackasses with guns looting what is left of peoples lives. I just heard on the radio that the police have been ordered to shot to kill, the jackasses looting will see justice from the wrong end of a gun. Brian, Brady, and Dustin were the men of honor Saturday night when close to 500 people showed up to party with the soldiers and Paisty Jenny. I wish them a safe journey to Iraq to serve their country, may the Lord be with them. Brian, Brady, and Dustin signed an American Flag for me which will be displayed on my amp until they return. Wars suck, but terrorism sucks even more, so we must support the men and women fighting against terrorism.
This weekend August 19-20, Paisty is again headed north to Norfolk where we will deliver a rock-n-roll assault of our own at the Depot. Hope to see ya there!! Check out the recording of Monday Monday on the music page that we recorded last week.

I have added two new pages to dragonbass,com. The first one is a video page, I found a couple short videos of Paisty, unfortunately there is no sound. The second page is called Humor 101. Sometimes I think that people don't spend enough time laughing, so here is my cure. I personally like a good joke, Read them and laugh. Just don't let any of them get your panties in a bunch, if you don't like one of the jokes don't read it, If one affends you don't read it. Hey all you internet surfers, what's been goin' on? We in Paistyville have been very busy little rockers, we've added some new songs (if you want to know what they are you'll just have to come to the shows!) as well as we've added a new member. Lance decided to leave the Paisty camp, so we have a new drummer. So we welcome Sean Brandt into the Paisty line up to beat on the drums.Check out his bio page here.

O.K.....When I started Dragon scrolls I said that I wouldn't talk about politics. It's just too argumentive, but the events of yesterday warrent a word or two. My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of London that have been killed, injured, or otherwise affected by this senseless act of terrorism. I am still pissed off at the cowards who crashed jets into the Trade Towers and the Pentagon. All terrorism is, is a coward's attempt at war. Terrorists don't have the balls to take on an army, so they attack innocent victims. I am not a racist, and it doesn't matter to me what country a person is from, but I am firmly against terrorism no matter what country they are from.

I know that I haven't updated this site for a couple days, I've been redoing the photo pages, check em out, they are way different. Dragonbass.com broke every record for visitors and hits, thanks to all that have visited. Check out the new photo pages and enjoy.
There was much fun to be had at Maxwells last weekend, Kearney indeed rocks!! I would like to thank all who rocked with Paisty, and some traveled many miles. There was one from Paris France, several from California, Grannd Island NE, Broken Bow NE, Beatrice NE, and even from Lincoln NE. Thanks for driving the distance!! Steve from Watts Systems took care of the sound and lights, and I'd like to thank the management and staff of Maxwells. Check back later and I'll get some photos up soon.

Des Moines you rock!! What a concert. I am not sure how many people showed up, but there was a lot of people rockin at Waterstock rock! Thanks goes to all that came to rock with the Paisty Boys, and thanks to the bands, promoters, and Gary from Up to Parr Sound and Lighting.
On June 23rd thru the 25th Paisty will be in Kearney at Maxwells. So again, let's road trip!

I will keep everyone updated on Dragonbass.com until we get the Paisty site back up. I have just noticed the the music page on Dragonbass.com is not working either, due to Paistyjenny.com being down.

Last month I hid the "little monster" and he was found rather quickly (on the contact page at the bootom), but I never anounced "where" he was hidden when that contest was over. After he was found on May 31st I hid him again in a different place, a much harder place to find him (to keep it interesting) I have removed last months "little monster". Look for the new place, when you find him you'll see a special e-mail Icon that will take you to a special e-mail address to notify me that you found him. See ya!

It's Wednesday morning, I am sitting here drinking my energy drink trying to recover from the Rock Never Stops concert with Cinderella, Ratt and Firehouse. Thanks to the Bands, management, promoter, and stage crew for having Paisty Jenny open the show last night, and special thanks to the fans and friends the rocked with us! I saw a lot of friends that I haven't seen for a long time, it was cool, and made some new ones too. It felt good to be on stage again after our three week break, I don't like being away from the stage that long.
June 18th (this Saturday) Paisty will be in Des Moines Iowa at Whaterstock Rock with Bret Michaels, Skid Row, Slaughter, Foreigner, Hells Bells, and Cold Filtered. Can we say "ROAD TRIP"? Yes that's right, time to jump in the car and take a road trip to Des Moines! This is an all f'n day concert, definately worth the drive to see the bands and party! See Ya there!!

Do to circumstances beyond our control The Lewis Bowl in Sioux City has been canceled. We hate to deliever news like this but sometimes it happens. Look for a reschedule in 4 to 6 weeks. Great news from the Paisty camp! We are joining the Rock Never Stops tour when it hits Lincoln June 14 at the Pershing auditorium.

WOW, what a weekend. Friday night we had an awesome show at the Depot in Norfolk, I partied with many friends and fans, great fun was had by all. Then there was Saturday....Two different venues, in two different towns, and in two different states. Saturday we did two shows, the first one was at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, and OMG was it windy. The wind was blowing so hard that sometimes it was difficult to stand on stage, I even had to put half of my speakers back in the trailer because the wind was making the bass rig wobble and I didn't want the rig to fall over. I'd like to thank Randi and Briar Cliff University for inviting Paisty Jenny to perform there, and I would like to thank everyone that came to the show. Other than the wind it was a good show.
Then it was pack up and blaze back to Norfolk to open for Hells Bells at the Depot. Hells Bells is a great AC/DC tribute band, if you haven't seen them I would say that it is a good show to check out. I would Like to thank Brad and the staff of the Depot for having us play there, and Perry and Kellie for running sound and lights. Thanks goes to all that came out to the Depot and Rocked withe Paisty Boys.
Next week we are at the Office in Beatrice, for a friday and saturday show, So again it is another road trip to Paisty funsville, be there or don't bitch about missing the fun! See ya!!

Now that's a cool lookin' date 05-05-05 LOL. Time to gas up the car and hit the road, Paisty Jenny is going to norfolk to rock the Depot with our style of rock-n-roll mayhem on friday may 6th. Then is's off to Sioux City to rock the Briar Cliff University saturday afternoon, may 7th. Then it is back to Norfolk to open for Hells Bells an AC?DC triboute Band at the Depot. See ya there!

There was a good turn out for Scenefest 3, got to see some of the local talent, and had a chance to see some friends and make some new ones. The only thing was our set was over too fast! Time flies when your having fun.
I've added a new page to Dragonbass.com, it's called Dragon Fans, it's a page dedicated to the fans the come to our shows. You never know when your picture could end up there! Speaking of pictures, last year on July 25th when played the benefit show for the tornado victims in Hallam, a little boy (I think he was around five) approached me and asked if he could play one of my basses, so I went and got one, set him down, and let him mess around with it. He kinda drew a crowd of his own fans, and several people wre taking pictures, I figured it was his family members, but it wasn't. I would like a copy of one of the pictures to post on the Dragon fans page, and I talked to his Mom the other day and She also would like some copies. I hear that he still talks about the day he got to play that bass. So if anyone knows where these pictures are please e-mail me at troy@dragonbass.com I would really like one of those pictures, and like I said earlier, his Mom would really like one. It would be greatly appreciated by both of us.
Paisty has this weekend off, then we are hitting the stage in Norfolk at the Depot, and a show in Siox City at Briar Cliff University. See ya there !

OH MY GOD!! Columbus you rock! Both nights were a blast. Little Bo's proved to be the rockin headquarters of Nebraska. I'd like to take the time to thank the staff of Little Bo's, Our Columbus fans, and all our fans that drove great distances to see Paisty play, Fremont, Schuyler, Albion, Omaha, and Norfolk just to name a few, one couple even drove from Iowa. Mega thanks to you all !! You made the weekend rock.
Now we're getting ready to play our home town of Lincoln, friday night at the Point after, and saturday at Duffy's. The Duffy's show is part of the Scenefest 3 put on by Star City Scene Paisty will start at 11:30 and play till 12:00, there will be a total of ten bands in two venues Duffy's and Bodega's Alley, it will be fun night with some of Lincolns best original bands! So come to Lincoln friday and saturday and we'll have a few drinks and a lot of rock-n-roll!

Thanks to all that came out to the show friday night at Cheerleaders, I had a blast! Thanks to Steve Watts for running sound, and to Sean for all his help. A funny thing happened during the second song, I wass rockin' out when one of the stage planks fell, and I was on it! Lost my balance for a second but did'nt crash (whew!) I guess the legs folded up on one side of the plank (where's the camera when you need it?)
Speaking of crashes, last night after the show I was thinking of the worst crash that I ever had (again, no camera), anyway Paisty was playing at the Office in Beatrice, and during one of the cover songs Greg and I was Kind of kicking each other (not out of anger, just messing around) and he started to get the best of me. I kept backing up and my foot caught the edge of my pedal board, and I lost my balance, and fell over the monitor backwards. The monitor, the mic stand, and I were laying on the dance floor! No injuries, other than a little embarassment. I'll bet it looked funny though, we were all laughing, even the crowd thought it was funny.

WOW! last weekend at the Depot was quite a party, thanks goes out to all that partied with the Paisty boys. We had a few long distance travelers at the show from Alliance NE, and some from Council Bluffs IA. Perry and Kellie did a great job running sound and lights, Thanks guys. Ashley and her friend (sorry, I can't remember her name, bad Troy) did a great job running the merch table, and Sean was running around promoting the band. Thanks for coming out to the show and see ya next time Norfolk!!

Hey it's me again, The show at Bob's Tavern was different, no backdrop, no monitors, and my mic was pointed to a wall. I felt like I was being punished every time I sang, but we made the best of it and had some fun. There was a good crowd and I would like to thank all of my friends from the College of Dentistry that showed up and rocked with us for a while. We have two weeks off, then it's off to Sioux City Iowa to rock at the Lewis Bowl! See ya there!

The show at the Lineman in Nebraska City was a blast. It was a very good start to a new year! I would like to thank the bar, their employees, and Steve and Tory from Watts systems. I do have to comment on a couple things, first, Lance sorry about the ice......well maybe not that sorry, And Gregg and the pineapple thing? I don't know what to say except, guys make sure you get your pineapple! The next show is in Lincoln at bob's tavern, we had to scale the show down a bit for room, but it will be a good show. This is the page that will make the editor pull her hair out with my grammer skills (or the lack of). This is where I will share road stories, jokes, thoughts, and maybe a bass tip or two.
I probably won't talk politics, I have my own view points, but it seems that people either agree with you or get pissed off. I don't want to piss anyone off with this web site, I just want to have some fun.
This Saturday brings the end of Paisty Jenny's Vacation. We took some time off to write some new songs, do some recording, and took some leisure time. No matter how much you love your job, you still need to take a break now and then. Paisty Jenny will be rockin' at the Lineman in Nebraska City. Maybe we'll have a funny road story or two from the show. we take our music very seriously, but Sometimes really funny shit happens on a Paisty stage! Well... I'll write later, see ya.
